Mateusz Krzyżowski

born on 6 March 1999, he is currently studying piano with Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He won the 49th Polish Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition and has also finished second in the 1st Karol Szymanowski International Music Competition in Katowice and third in the 1st Stanisław Moniuszko International Polish Music Competition in Rzeszów. He has also appeared in music festivals at Nohant, Duszniki-Zdrój and Słupsk. He has worked with such ensembles as the Lublin Philharmonic, Sinfonia Juventus, Aukso Chamber Orchestra and Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice.
