Wojciech Niedziółka

 

is a 19-year-old violinist, first year student at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Univeristy of Music in Łódź, in the violin class of Prof. Łukasz Błaszczyk. He is a laureate of many international and national competitions, including, among others: 1st place in the International Georg Philipp Telemann Violin Competition in Poznań, 1st place in the Groblicz Family National Violin Competition in Krakow, 2nd prize at the National Zdzisław Jahnke Violin Competition in Poznań, Grand Prix of the International Violin Competition “Young Paganini” in Legnica. He is also a semi-finalist and the winner of the special prize for the highest ranked polish participant of the 16th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition in Poznań (2022), as well as a finalist of the International Louis Spohr Competition for Young Violinists in Weimar.

 

He has performed many times as a soloist with orchestras, including: Slovak Sinfonietta, National Symphony Orchestra of Polish Radio, Łódź Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Iuventus, Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra, Zielona Góra Philharmonic Orchestra. He has participated in numerous music festivals, as well as the prestigious Morningside Music Bridge and Luzerne Music Center programs in the United States. He developed his skills under the guidance of outstanding masters – Robert Szreder, Noah Bendix-Belgey, Midori, Miriam Fried, Daniel Stabrawa, William vad der Sloot, Marcin Baranowski, Wieslaw Kwaśny. He collaborates with the Krzysztof Penderecki European Center for Music in Lusławice as a soloist in the “Prezentacje” program and as a concertmaster of the “Penderecki Youth Orchestra”. He is also a laureate of the scholarship program of the National Center for Culture – “Młoda Polska”.
