Krzysztof Niedźwiecki

 

guitarist, composer, singer-songwriter. He studied at the Film School in Lodz, and graduated from the Film Academy in Warsaw. Between 1998 and 2014 he played in groups like Habakuk, Bakshish, Ptaszyska, Mind Kampf, Superpalka, Wylaczeni and DiM. Currently a member of Strojnowy and Babylon Raus bands, he also performs as solo artist, singing his own material. He wrote songs for two records of Andrzej Grabowski, which he also produced. In 2013 his debut tri-single “N” came out. Co-founder of ZERO music club in Czestochowa, he also organised large cultural events involving artists like Kasia Kowalska, Stanislaw Sojka, Martyna Jakubowicz, Hanna Banaszak or Maciej Malenczuk, among others. He won the Award of the Marshal of Slaskie Voivodeship for young creators in the field of entertainment music (2009) and Award of the President of the City of Czestochowa in the field of culture (2010). Since 2013 he has been a member of the accompanying trio for Piotr Machalica’s recitals.
